Sophie enquired via my Instagram, to photograph their intimate wedding ceremony at Leeds Town Hall and then their wedding party celebration at The Venue in Halifax. As a wedding photographer with a love for the city, it was something I didn’t hesitate about!
Stacey + Michael, the modern day couple that met online, got married in a beautiful, huge church on a rainy day in April..
Charlotte and Matt got married in Burton in Lonsdale, Lancashire on April 13th 2019..
If you could married anywhere in the world wide world, where would it be?
Laura + Steven had a small ceremony with 30 of their closest family + friends at Temple Newsam House in Leeds and it was just as beautiful as you’d imagine!
It was a pleasure to be asked back by Will + Liz to photograph their second child and I’m so happy they love them the second time round too. .
Thinking of having some family portraits done? Here’s a little snapshot from the lovely ‘Lam’ family’s autumn mini-sessions this year at Roundhay Park, Leeds!
“If you had to label it, it would be rustic. There will be lots of wood and herbs, all our tables are named after herbs. I really wanted the room to smell amazing and in the Victorian period, bouquets would be given and each flower would mean something special. The idea is that each herb we've chosen will contribute to make our marriage a happy and successful one. The confetti will also be made entirely of herbs so hopefully it will smell amazing!”
Do you ever look back at old family and wedding photographs and it just makes you feel happy? You remember exactly where you were when that photograph was taken and you remember the time of year, the season and the people that you were with.
Helen and Paul had such a relaxed wedding morning, a few close friends and family to visit them whilst they both got ready at the same venue and both of their dogs for extra company too. (Noo, don’t worry, he didn’t see her dress!)
